Why We Require a $120 Initial Inspection for Classic Vehicles
At your first visit with us, we perform a mandatory comprehensive inspection on your classic vehicle. This inspection is not just a formality—it’s a crucial step in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of your car.
Here’s why it’s necessary:
This detailed inspection allows us to create a service plan tailored to your vehicle’s needs—and gives you peace of mind knowing your classic car is safe and roadworthy!
Here’s why it’s necessary:
- Safety First: Classic vehicles often have hidden safety concerns due to age, previous repairs, or outdated systems. We check brakes, lights, restraint systems (like seatbelts), and more to ensure you’re safe behind the wheel.
- Identify Leaks and Wear: Older engines, transmissions, and cooling systems can develop leaks that aren’t always visible. Catching these early prevents costly damage down the road.
- Assess Tire and Battery Health: We check tire condition and date codes (dry rot is common in stored vehicles), along with battery placement and performance—both key to dependable operation.
- Functionality Check: We verify that key systems—wipers, signals, gauges, lights, horn, etc.—all work as they should. Classic cars often have quirks or hidden issues that need expert attention.
- Foundation for Upgrades or Repairs: Whether you’re looking for a full restoration, performance upgrade, or just ongoing maintenance, this inspection gives us a clear picture of your car’s current condition and what it needs moving forward.
This detailed inspection allows us to create a service plan tailored to your vehicle’s needs—and gives you peace of mind knowing your classic car is safe and roadworthy!
